Please can we remind all Members that they should not park on the grass area immediately at the top of the entrance and in front of the old office. In addition to Council, several Members have raised complaints as they are witnessing the same vehicles repeatedly park on this area when there are sufficient spaces available in the main car park. As you will appreciate, this does not give a good first impression on entering the club and we are now seeing damage to the grass.
Our aim is not to rope this area off but failure to follow this instruction will leave no option but to do this and individuals will be contacted directly by Council about their behaviour. Parking on this area should stop immediately.
Members in the main car park are also reminded to be vigilant of those around them, park appropriately and be careful when taking their golf equipment in and out of their vehicles.
Please be aware the overflow area where the sand bays are located provides additional space for those who require it.
